The main difference between a primitive and an advanced intelligent life form is that the primitive life form has no control over it's life, including its existence, in other words it is mortal.  On the other hand an advanced life form has a complete control over all aspects of its existence, including mortality, i.e. it is immortal. From this point of view, humans of the early 21st century are a primitive intelligent life form. Our goal is to help humans transcend the eternal-life barrier and become an advanced intelligent life form.
